Our Pastors.

Pastors James and Gemma Stevens are the Senior Pastors of Advance Church Taupō, where they have faithfully served for over 14 years. Married for more than 20 years, they are proud parents of Psalms and Ezekiel.

With a deep conviction in their hearts to lead and serve the local church, James and Gemma are passionate about seeing people encounter Christ, experience healing and freedom, and grow confidently in their faith journey. Over the years, they have had the privilege of journeying alongside many people and witnessing countless lives transformed by the power of Jesus.

James carries a strong apostolic anointing and currently serves as the leader of the INC national movement in New Zealand. Together, James and Gemma are committed to building a healthy, Christ-centred church and seeing Advance Church continue to make a lasting impact in their community, nation and beyond.
